Am Ende 24. Juni in 1859, um 18.45 Uhr, endete die risorgimentale Schlacht in San Martino mit einem Waffenstillstand zwischen der oesterreichischen und der savoyischen Armee: diesen Zeitpunkt haben wir als Hommage an die Geschichte auch als Name dieses Weins verwendet.
Rebsorten Groppello, Marzemino, Sangiovese, Barbera.
Bodentypologie Moraeneschuttboeden.

Weinbereitung Weinbereitung Stahl, Kontakt zwischen Schalen und Most nur fuer kurze Zeit.
Ausbau Stahl, auf feinem Satz.
Alkoholgehalt 12%
Rosa Farbe, mit Rubinreflexen. In der Nase fein, angenehm intensiv und fruchtig, mit Noten von Kirsch, Pfirsich und exotischen reifen Fruechten. Im Mund trocken und harmonisch, persistent, mit leichtem Nachgeschmack von Bittermandel. Der Name erinnert an die Unabhaengigkeitskrieg, aber auch an die Verabredung mit einem wohlverdienten Entspannungsmoment am Abend.
